Getting to Hotel Magdalena

What do I need to know about my stay?

When can I check in?
- Check-in begins at 3 PM.
- Please note, upon check-in we will authorize your card for incidentals at the rate of $100/night. Any incidentals not used will be released back to your card within 3-5 business days after departure.
When do I check out?
- Check out is noon.
Can I check in early?
- While we can’t always guarantee an early check-in, we will do our best to try and accommodate. If unavailable we can always hold your luggage and bags.
Can I checkout late?
- If you need a little extra time getting out, let us know. We will do our best to give you some more time, and if not, we can always hold onto your bags while you explore.
Can you store my bags before I check-in or after I check out?
- Of course. Just let the front desk know and we’ll provide a ticket for your bag.
What is the minimum age required to check in?
- You must be 21 or older and present a valid ID to check in.

Who and what can I bring?

Do you have WiFi?
- Of course. No password necessary.
Are children allowed?
- Yes! We love guests of all ages. The holder of your reservation must be 21 or up to check in.
Can I bring my pet?
- Yes! Well-behaved dogs are always welcome (for a small fee). Pack your pup and we'll supply a bed, bowl, and maybe a treat or two for your best friend. We even offer an extensive in-room menu for your furry friends. Paw through the options HERE.
Do you have travel cribs or anything else for kids available?
- Yes. Just ask the front desk if you need any child-specific needs.
What amenities are in my room?
- All rooms include bath amenities, a coffee maker, bluetooth speakers, chromecast, a hairdryer, a fully stocked minibar, a delightfully comfortable bathroom, and in-room safe.
When does housekeeping come? Is stayover service available?
- Housekeeping comes daily for stayover service, but feel free to place the “Leave Me Be” sign on your door if you’d like them to skip over your room that day.
Can I have a package sent to the hotel prior to my arrival?
- Of course. Here’s the address:

If anything arrives for you before you check-in, we’ll hold it at the front desk. We are only able to hold packages for 10 days before or after your reservation.

Can I bring a photographer and take pictures?
- Maybe. Commercial photography is prohibited without express permission. Contact us if you have a request.

How many rooms are at the hotel?
- 89
Are there any events going on while I’m staying there?
- Probably. At Bunkhouse we love a good reason to get together. Check out our Events page to explore what’s happening while you are in town.
Does the hotel have a pool?
- Yes. The pool is available to guests between 8 am - 10 pm.
Can I bring my own drinks to the pool?
- Outside food and drinks are prohibited at the pool. However, we offer food and drink options from the Magdalena Bar during summer hours. Outside of Magdalena Bar hours you may call our on property restaurant, Summer on Music Lane, and we’ll be happy to deliver any food or drinks right to your chair.
Can I rent a bike?
- Yes! We offer a few bikes for our guests, just ask the Front Desk and they’ll also point you to the best places to ride.
Does the hotel have a gym?
- No, but we do have Pelotons and yoga mats available for you to use in your room. Just ask the Front Desk and we can set you up with either (mats are free and bikes are complimentary for the first hour).
Does the hotel have a spa?
- No, but we know of several great options in the area. The Front Desk would be happy to provide recommendations.
What’s the souvenir situation? Is there a shop?
- Our individually curated retail shops are worth a visit on their own. We offer a host of signature souvenirs, thoughtfully sourced local goods, and one-of-a-kind finds. Save room in your suitcase or if you decide you want something after the fact, our online shops are always open. If you want to start browsing, you can shop here.
Is there a concierge that can help me plan my stay?
- Our Front Desk provides 24 hour concierge service to help you fill your days with the best our hometown has to offer. Just ask.
When can I get room service?
- Yes, we offer room service all day. Just dial 0 on the phone in your room and we’ll connect you.
Can I smoke in my room?
- No. All of our rooms are non-smoking. If we find that you’ve tampered with any of our smoke detectors or lit up in your room, we’ll charge a fee of $250.
I’m really digging the bath products/comforter/uniforms/glasses you use. Are they for sale?
- Aww thanks. Yes! Many of the items in your room and around the hotel are available in our gift shop. Take a gander!

Reservations, Cancellations, Payments

What payment methods do you accept?
- For payment, we accept American Express, Discover Card, Mastercard or Visa.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
- Plans change. If yours do, we just ask that you let us know by 3 PM local hotel time at least 48 hours prior to your reservation to avoid a fee (equal to one night’s stay plus tax).
- During peak times and depending on your reservation, our policies may vary, so please refer to your specific reservation. These can be found during the booking process and in your reservation confirmation email.

When will my credit card be charged? What’s your deposit policy?
- We will need to secure your booking with a credit or debit card up front. The cost of that deposit may vary and during peak times we may require the full cost of your reservation — but the remainder of your payment will be charged upon arrival unless stated otherwise. Please check the exact policies for your reservation while booking.

How is my room guaranteed?
- Reservations are guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. We’ll ask you to verify the payment details upon check-in.

What is your cancellation policy?
- Cancellation is required 48 hours prior to arrival for most room types.

What is an "amenity fee"?
- A fee of $32.76 per night (taxes included) will be added to your bill so that we can provide the following services and enhancements to your experience according to our standards:
- High-speed Wi-Fi throughout property
- In-room coffee
- Complimentary drip coffee in Summer on Music Lane from 7 to 9 AM
- Complimentary yoga mats
- Complimentary usage of property bicycles
- In-room Peloton usage—first hour free, additional charges may apply
- Access to guest-only pool with towel service
- Access to regular on-property cultural and wellness programming
Is there a minimum number of nights I need to stay?
- Minimum length of stay will vary based on the season and time of year.

Eating and Drinking

What are my dining options on property?
- We have numerous dining options on property, in addition to room service, including Summer on Music Lane which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also have our seasonal outdoor/pool bar, Magdalena Bar that serves great frozen drinks, and food. We also have a vinyl bar onsite, Equipment Room, where you can get classic cocktails and small bites while listening to an incredible selection of music.
How do I book a table at Summer on Music Lane, Magdalena Bar, or Equipment Room?
- Make a reservation during your stay for Summer on Music Lane or Equipment Room on Resy or by calling the venue. Mag Bar is first come first, no reservations required.
I want to have a party here. Can I rent out the hotel/restaurant/pool?
- We love parties! Yes. Our team can work with you to host the event of your dreams. You can find more information about our offerings and capabilities HERE.
