Working at Bunkhouse
Our work is rooted in the communities in which we exist, and we believe above all else in creating an awareness of and connection to a sense of place in all that we do. Our success is best measured by the loyalty of our guests, employees, stakeholders, vendors and partners, and we are proud to see those meaningful connections translate into a thriving business. We at Bunkhouse are proud to build businesses with soul. It's not only the right thing to do, and the most fun—it's sustainable, profitable, and scalable.

About Bunkhouse
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Our story begins at a seedy motel on South Congress Avenue over 20 years ago. Liz Lambert, Bunkhouse founder, first purchased the former motor court and transformed it into Hotel San José. The success of our quintessentially Austin hotel, sparked a revitalization in the city’s now thriving South Congress district, and led to the launch of Bunkhouse Group, a hospitality company founded on the pillars of design, music, and community-driven experiences. Today, our celebrated portfolio of hospitality projects spans the U.S. and Mexico.
Dogs are always welcome.
