Getting To Austin Motel

- How do I get there?
  - We are located at 1220 South Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704.
  - Our lobby is located off of South Congress, right in between Nellie and James St.

Where do I park my car?
- Our parking lot is located off of South Congress on James St.
- We offer complimentary first come, first served self-parking spot per room and we will register your vehicle upon check in.
- We offer paid parking for any additional overnight vehicles for a nightly charge.

Can I charge my car there?
- Yes! There is both a Tesla charger and a regular EV charger in our parking lot for our guests!

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MY STAY?

When can I check in?
- Check-in begins at 3 PM. Upon check-in, your card will be authorized for $50 per night per room for an incidental hold. It is fully refundable, though it may appear on your debit or credit card for up to a week post-departure.

When do I check out?
- Check out is at noon.

Can I check in early?
- We always try to accommodate early check-ins. Let us know when you are arriving and we’ll do our best to get you into your room early.

Can I checkout late?
- If you need a little extra time getting out, let us know. We will do our best to give you some more time, and we can always hold onto your bags while you explore.

Can you store my bags before I check-in or after I check out?
- Of course. Just let the front desk know.

What is the minimum age required to check in?
- You must be 21 or older and present a valid ID to check in.

WHO AND WHAT CAN I BRING?

Do you have WiFi?
- Of course. The password is austinmotel.

Are children allowed?
- Yes! We love guests of all ages. The holder of your reservation must be 21 or up to check in.

Can I bring my pet?
- Yes! Well-behaved dogs are always welcome (for a small fee). Pack your pup and we'll supply a bed, bowl, and maybe a treat or two for your best friend.

Do you have travel cribs or anything else for kids available?
- Yes. We have pack n plays available for no charge, just let the front desk know so they can place it in your room prior to your arrival!

What amenities are in my room?
- All rooms include bath amenities, bluetooth speakers, a hairdryer, a fully stocked minibar, a delightfully comfortable bathroom. Other amenities such as an iron and ironing board or steamer are by request, just ask the front desk!

When does housekeeping come? Is stayover service available?
- Stayover service is available by appointment only from 9am-3pm!

Can I have a package sent to the hotel prior to my arrival?
- Of course. Here’s the address:

If anything arrives for you before you check-in, we’ll hold it at the front desk. We are only able to hold packages for 10 days before or after your reservation.

- 41 rooms

Are there any events going on while I’m staying there?
- Probably. At Bunkhouse we love a good reason to get together. Check out our Events page to explore what’s happening while you are in town.

Does the hotel have a pool?
- Yes. The pool is available to guests from 8am - 10pm. Limited to registered guests, any additional guests would have to check in with the front desk for a pool pass!

Can I bring my own drinks to the pool?
- Outside drinks are prohibited at the pool. However, we do have a pool bar on site, and you are welcome to have outside food!

Can I rent a bike?
- We do not offer bike rentals, however there is a bike rental down the street in front of Jo’s Coffee!

Does the hotel have a gym?
- No, but we know of several great options in the area. Ask the front desk for recommendations.

Does the hotel have a spa?
- No, but we know of several great options in the area. Ask the front desk for recommendations.

What’s the souvenir situation? Is there a shop?
- Our individually curated retail shops are worth a visit on their own. We offer a host of signature souvenirs, thoughtfully sourced local goods, and one-of-a-kind finds. Save room in your suitcase or if you decide you want something after the fact, our online shops are always open.

Can I smoke in my room?
- No. All of our rooms are non-smoking. If a noticeable odor of smoke is present in the room upon your departure, we will charge you a $250 smoking fee.

I’m really digging the bath products/comforter/uniforms/glasses you use. Are they for sale?
- Aww thanks. Yes! Many of the items in your room and around the hotel are available in our gift shop. Take a gander!

RESERVATIONS, CANCELLATIONS, PAYMENTS

What payment methods do you accept?
- For payment, we accept American Express, Discover Card, Mastercard or Visa. We are cashless!

Can I change or cancel my reservation?
- Plans change. If yours do, we just ask that you let us know by 6 PM local hotel time at least 2 days prior to your reservation to avoid a fee (equal to first night’s stay plus tax).
- During peak times and depending on your reservation, our policies may vary, so please refer to the policies specific to your reservation. These can be found during the booking process and in your reservation confirmation email.

When will my credit card be charged? What’s your deposit policy?
- We will need to secure your booking with a credit or debit card up front. The cost of that deposit may vary and during peak times we may require the full cost of your reservation up front— but the remainder of your payment will be charged upon check-out unless stated otherwise. Please check the exact policies for your reservation while booking.

How is my room guaranteed?
- Reservations are guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. We’ll ask you to bring a method of payment upon check-in.

What is your cancellation policy?
- Cancellation is required 48 hours prior to arrival unless booked with a deposit, which is non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Are there any additional fees I should know about?
- $100 per night per room hold for incidentals

Is there a minimum number of nights I need to stay?
- Minimum length of stay will vary based on the season and time of year.

What are my dining options on property?
